Dear Cellmates,

We have scheduled our 35th Reunion on October 14, 15 & 16, 2005.

This year's event is pretty simple and straightforward. There will be a pre-game reception and a football game on Friday, a Dinner on Saturday Night and a Brunch on Sunday Morning. Saturday morning and afternoon were purposefully left open to allow you to visit with family and friends, go out exploring the tremendous growth in Yuma, take in a round of golf or tour the YHS campus.

The Shilo Inn, 1550 South Castle Dome Avenue, will serve as our Reunion Headquarters. Registration will be in the Oasis Desert Room, adjacent to Hotel Registration and will be open 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Friday.

Room rates at the Shilo Inn are $73.00 plus tax per night. Rooms are single or double occupancy, Queen size beds. If you will be staying in a hotel, this is the place to stay. We have blocked a number of rooms to secure this discounted rate. Stay at the Shilo Inn (Cellblock 1) and be close to all of the activities. The Shilo Inn is a very nice hotel, easily accessible from Interstate 8 at 16th Street, directly adjacent to the new Yuma Palms Regional Shopping Center and has been very accommodating to the Planning Committee.

If you can't attend, we understand, but drop us a line letting us know what you have been up to. These letters have been shared with those able to attend and we will have an updated address for our records.

If you know of the whereabouts of a fellow classmate, please send us an address or phone number AND pass this information along to them. We want every member of the Class of 1970 to know about this event.

Please send us a note or even a photo (one of you, the spouse, kids, grandkids, dog, boat, etc) to post and share with those who make the trek across the desert.

Hope to see you in October.
